Driver Checklist – What to Know Before You Start
This page helps every driver (new or experienced) start each job fully prepared, avoid issues on-site, and keep service consistent.
#1. What to Keep in the Truck
Before leaving for any job, make sure your truck has the full moving kit needed to protect items, move safely, and handle heavy loads.
Straps (for securing furniture and appliances)
Moving blankets (to wrap and protect items)
2 trolleys (minimum in every truck)
Dollies (for bulky/heavy items)
Full tool kit (for basic removals/adjustments when needed)
#2. Truck Equipment Check
These are part of the truck and must be ready to use before you start the job.
Tail lift working properly
Ramps available and in good condition
